The work is from the author’s studio.
In 1999, he graduated from the AAAD from the studio of prof. Vladimír Kopecký. The next year he won the Talent 2000 prize at the Munich international fair of applied arts in the glass category. The usage of clear, aquamarine or ruby glass in simple geometric or organic shapes is characteristic for Filip Nízký. He has recently created a series of diagonals and verticals, where he developed the motif of a precise geometric body disrupted by cutting the surface. Thus the beauty of the glass comes through in all of the nuances of the glass matter and texture of the surface.
